Relationship of Centromeric Heterochromatin to Fluorescent Banding Patterns of Metaphase Chromosomes in the Mouse

Abstract

Human and mouse chromosomes can be distinguished on the basis of different amounts of centric heterochromatin and different patterns of fluorescent banding.
