Abstract
THIS X-ray Crystallographic study of a valine specific transfer RNA (tRNAval) from yeast demonstrates that the degree of order obtainable in crystals of the tRNA is sufficient to give sharp diffraction spots to a resolution of 3 Å. This degree of resolution is comparable with that from crystalline globular proteins and therefore the determination of the structure of this tRNA at atomic resolution should be possible. A detailed account of the crystallization procedure is given.
