Isolation and Biochemical Characteristics of the Nuclear Envelope

Abstract

UNTIL recently information about the chemical composition of the nuclear envelope was restricted to the residual protein fraction prepared from isolated normal cell nuclei1,2 and originating from the nuclear envelope3,4.
