Abstract
EVIDENCE obtained during geophysical investigations aboard the USCGC Mariposa in the summer of 1967 strongly supports the hypothesis1 that an inactive branch of the Mid-Oceanic Ridge lies buried beneath the axis of the Labrador Sea.
