cis-syn Thymine Homodimer from Ultraviolet Irradiated Calf Thymus DNA

Abstract

THE present interest in the ultra-violet irradiation of nucleic acids1–3 seems to warrant the tedious effort required to isolate in small quantities and to identify the product(s) formed in biological material, at doses compatible with biological assays of the radiation-induced damage.
