Abstract
Tauc and Gerschenfeld1 showed that acetylcholine (ACh) iontophoretically injected on the soma of the so-called H-neurones of molluscs produces a transient hyperpolarization (ACh potential) and that the inhibitory post-synaptic potentials (IPSP) recorded in these cells were cholinergic.
