Bioelectric Activity of the Central Nervous System in Normal and Diapausing Alfalfa Weevils

Abstract

As part of a comprehensive investigation of the physiology of summer diapause (aestivation) common to the alfalfa weevil (Hypera postica, Gyllenhal) in the south-east United States, we have examined the bioelectrical activity of its central nervous system.
