Effect of Stocking Rate and Lambing Time on Gestation Length in Sheep

Abstract

ALEXANDER1 suggested that severe undernutrition of sheep may reduce the gestation length in sheep and he reported reductions of up to 3.6 days in gestation length in ewes transferred to a low plane of nutrition.
