Abstract
THIS communication reports the results of potassium–argon age determinations of biotite and hornblende concentrates from each of two quartz diorite samples of the Paritu Pluton (36° 32′ S., 175° 20′ E.), and of plagioclase and biotite from the hornfels on Cuvier Island (36° 26′ S., 175° 46′ E.) from which we were able to obtain an estimate of the age of the Cuvier Plutonics (Table 1).
