Independent Fission-fields of Caesium-134

Abstract

THE radionuclide caesium-134 has a half-life of 2.1 years and is reported to exist in the Earth's atmosphere and biosphere including man1. The caesium-134 activities measured in air, foods and man are in the range of 0.1–2 per cent of the caesium-134 activity2–4.
