A Submarine Outcrop of Lower Carboniferous Rocks off South-East Scotland

Abstract

EXAMINATION by divers of a submarine section off the coast of south-east Scotland in which are seen beds of the Scremerston Coal Group has filled in the only major gap in the exposed Lower Carboniferous succession in this area.
