Abstract
WHEN the diameter of a round tube is very much larger than the mean free path (m.f.p.) of the molecules of a gas flowing through it the volumetric flow F of the gas in the axial z direction is given by the expression where a, μ, and p are the tube radius, and the gas viscosity and pressure, respectively.
