Abstract
KINETIN riboside (6-furfurylaminopurine riboside) reverses the stimulatory effects of oligodeoxyribonucleotides on antibody synthesis1 and phagocytosis2. Evidence exists suggesting that some of the effects of bacterial endotoxins on increased host-resistance to pathogens may be associated with a release of such oligomers3, and it was considered of interest to determine the influence of kinetin riboside on the protective effects of endotoxin.
