Abstract
IN an investigation designed to investigate whether the release of vasopressin (ADH) from rat posterior pituitaries in vitro would be a reliable index of the discharge of this hormone in vivo, a dissociation between antidiuretic and vasopressor activity was found on incubation in the posterior lobe as well as in the medium.
