Effect of Rifamycin on Protein Synthesis

Abstract

IN an earlier paper1 we reported that rifamycins M14 (diethylamide of rifamycin B) and SV inhibited 14C L-isoleucine incorporation by cell-free extracts of B. subtilis strain ATCC 6633.
