Abstract
To examine the effect of polyploidy on radiosensitivity in mammalian cells, it is desirable to induce a ploidy mutant from a clone derived from a single cell. Theoretically such a cell clone could be isolated by the tissue culture method developed by Puck et al.1. The following technique of injecting single cells is applicable also to cells which are difficult to culture in vitro.
