Abstract
BIOLOGICAL activity of nucleic acids isolated from tumour cells has been examined in vitro and in vivo1–6. There has been no report of similar preparations from canine neoplasms. Although clinical and epidemiological evidence suggests that spontaneous canine lymphoma may be infectious in nature, no viral agent has been identified. The work recorded here resulted from a programme designed to explore the ætiological aspects of the tumour.
