Abstract
IT has been shown that 11-deoxycorticosterone1 and related corticosteroids2 such as corticosterone, 17-hydroxy-11-deoxycorticosterone, 11-dehydrocorticosterone. 17 - hydroxy - 11 - dehydrocorticosterone, hydrocortisone and cortisone will cause ovulation when injected into Xenopus laevis in 5–10 mgm. doses.
