Abstract
THE optimum temperature for the in vitro growth of Entamœba invadens has been determined by several investigators to be between 20 and 30° C.1,2. I found that the maximum temperature at which E. invadens could be grown in developing chicken embryos was 30° C.3. The following account represents the results of a preliminary investigation on the ability of E. invadens to establish itself in snakes kept at temperatures above normal.
