Diathelic Immunization of Sheep against a Rat Cancer

Abstract

THE term ‘diathelic immunization’ has been introduced by B. Campbell et al. 1, who instilled different antigens into the orifice of the milk gland (in cows) and obtained colostrum and milk with high titres of antibodies against the antigens used. They consider the milk gland as an exocrine reticuloendothelial gland.
