Effect of Glycosylation on the Enzymic Oxidation and Translocation of Flavonoids

Abstract

THERE is a possibility that a planar structure may be one of the factors which determines the ability of a flavonoid to function as a substrate for plant poly-phenoloxidases. It is also possible that a planar structure may adversely affect the ease of translocation of flavonoids in vegetable tissues.
