Influence of Counterion Association on the Configurational Stability of Deoxyribonucleic Acid in Solution

Abstract

THERE is strong evidence that the double stranded helix proposed by Crick and Watson on the basis of the X-ray diffraction photograph of deoxyribonucleic acid fibres1 is present also in solution2.
