Condensation Products of Ethylenediamine with Adrenaline

Abstract

IT has been reported that adrenaline and noradrenaline are converted quantitatively into strongly fluorescent stable products by their reaction with ethylenediamine1,2, and the fluorimetric separation determination of adrenaline and noradrenaline was devised by the use of two kinds of secondary filters, based on the difference of the fluorescence spectra of the condensation products of both catechol amines3.
