Abstract
NUCLEAR intervention in cytoplasmic growth and differentiation has formed the subject of many studies during recent years. One significant result from these studies is the recognition of the major part played by the nucleolus in the developing egg1–3. A recent review by Vincent4 has surveyed the problem.
