Abstract
IN a previous communication in Nature, Butterworth and Mann1 described some experiments on the rate of resynthesis of adrenaline and noradrenaline in the adrenal gland of the cat. This work showed that, after depletion of the glands with acetylcholine, there was a considerable increase in the level of noradrenaline one week later, whereas the adrenaline showed but little resynthesis. Experiments have now been performed allowing a resynthesis period of one month.
