A Crystalline Material with Xanthine Oxidase Activity

Abstract

IN the course of investigations into the preparation, purification and chemistry of xanthine oxidase from cow's milk, as part of a larger programme of biological and chemical research into functional and structural cellular constituents, we obtained a crystalline material with pronounced enzyme activity.
