Abstract
MANY workers have reported striking antagonism between plant pathogens and saprophytes. Most of this work has been done in pure culture or in soil partially or completely sterilized before introduction of the test organisms. There are comparatively few records of disease control under natural conditions by the introduction of an antagonistic organism.
