Abstract
A SIMPLE method has been devised to enable X-ray diffraction photographs to be obtained from a single plant cell the size of which is of the order of 10 µ × 10 µ × a few mm. long. Although details of methods using micro-focus tubes and micro-beams have been published, they are not suitable in this instance because of the low diffracting power of cellulosic materials.
