A blood stem cell transplant in a person with concomitant Hodgkin disease and testicular carcinoma

Abstract

We report a patient with concomitant Hodgkin disease and testicular carcinoma who received MOPP chemotherapy and radiation therapy followed by etoposide and cisplatin. The testicular cancer recurred and he received ifosfamide, vinblastine and cisplatin followed by a high-dose carboplatin and etoposide blood stem cell transplant. He has been in complete remission for 6 months.
