Abstract
IN the presidential address to Section C (Geology) of the British Association, delivered at Dundee on September 1, Dr. Murray Macgregor stressed the vital need for closer co-operation between the miner and the geologist for the better-planned exploitation of the coal resources of Great Britain; his address was followed by a discussion on the future prospects of those supplies.
