Abstract
THIS volume covers the whole sphere of virus diseases in plants and animals and their investigation. The structure of viruses is discussed and illustrated by photographs taken by means of the electron microscope. Among the chapter headings are “Viruses and Tumours” and “Combating the Viruses”. The scope is remarkably wide, but the presentation is clear and the book makes most interesting reading.
