Abstract
MAGNESIUM is to-day a metal of the greatest importance, and the paucity of reliable information regarding the production of this latest addition to the industrially important metals makes especially welcome the survey given by Dr. C. H. Desch in the Peter Le Neve Foster Lecture to the Royal Society of Arts delivered on February 17.
