Abstract

IN the summer of 1929, a party of four scientific men, led by Henry C. Raven, of the American Museum of Natural History, left New York to visit the homelands of the gorilla in Africa. McGregor, known at home and abroad for his faithful reconstruction of extinct forms of humanity, and Dr. E. T. Engle, anatomist, Columbia University. The expenses of the expedition were paid by that University.
