Abstract
IN opening the first International Electrodeposition Conference, which was held at British Industries Jlouse, London, on March 3-4, Lord Melchett referred to the rapid advance which has been made in recent years in the science and practice of electroplating and other electrodeposition processes, and paid a tribute to the work of the Electrodepositors' Technical Society in furthering these developments and in organizing this first International Conference.
