Abstract
Diene syntheses are reversible associations of the type The equilibrium constant K = has been measured for four of these reactions. (1) cyclopentadiene + -naphthoquinone ⇆ cyclopentadiene--naphthoquinone. (2) cyclopentadiene + benzoquinone ⇆ cyclopentadiene-benzoquinone. (3) cyclopentadiene + cyclopentadiene ⇆ dicyclopentadiene. (4) cyclopentadiene + acrolein ⇆ endomethylene-tetrahydrobenzaldehyde.
