Abstract
THE investigations of Jones and Dole1 suggested to me the problem of studying the viscosity of strong electrolytes from the viewpoint of the theory of Debye.2 It is well known that Debye's theory assumes that each ion is surrounded by an ‘ionic atmosphere’ the total charge of which is equal and opposite to the total charge of the central ion.
