An endeavour is made to trace the evolution of mammals from Cotylosaurian ancestors through the carnivorous Therapsida.—Dr. E. A. Newell Arber: The fossil floras of the Wyre Forest, with special reference to the geology of the coalfield and its relationships to the neighbouring Coal Measure areas.
