Abstract
MR. GARRETT CHAffFIELD PIER, of New York, is an amateur, of Egyptian antiquities, and has begun to publism of catalogue of his collection, of which the first part has reached us. The book is produced by the Academical Press of the University of Chicago, which, at the instigation of its Egyptorogical specialist, Prof. Breasted, is beginning to take an important part in Egyptian archæological work.
