Abstract
A FRESH survey of the Lower Wealden beds in eastern Sussex by the officers of the Geological Survey Department has quite recently been made. The whole district has been recently visited by Messrs. Bristow, Topley, and Drew, and it has been decided to sub-divide the strata hitherto known as the Ashburnham beds into two divisions.
