Single-cell imaging articles from across Nature Portfolio
Single-cell imaging is an ensemble of microscopy techniques that enable the collection of separate data from individual cells, as opposed to values averaged over populations of cells. Single-cell imaging most often relies on fluorescent molecules and reveals that populations of genetically identical cells often present heterogeneous phenotypes.
