Neuroendocrine diseases are disorders that affect the interaction between the nervous system and the endocrine system. Examples of diseases of neuroendocrine origin include diabetes insipidus, Kallman syndrome, and neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), which are neoplasms that arise from cells of the endocrine and nervous systems.
