Immunohistochemistry is a technique for detecting molecules of interest within tissues using antibodies. Probes or enzymes conjugated to primary antibodies that bind the target molecule (or secondary antibodies that recognize the primary antibody) report the location of targets in tissue or cell samples for imaging.
