Cytokinesis
Cytokinesis occurs after nuclear division and is the process that divides the cytoplasm to give rise to two new cells, each with one set of chromosomes. Cytokinesis begins with the contraction of the cell equator and ends with severing the remaining connection between the daughter cells.
