Editor Apprenticeship Program

The Editors-in–Chief of Pediatric Research are excited to announce our second year of the Editorial Apprenticeship program. This program is designed for early career investigators to gain experience and develop skills necessary for membership on an editorial board. Dr. Bearer and Dr. Molloy will be selecting two individuals each year to participate in this new program. The selectees will be invited to join the Editorial Board meeting in Philadelphia at PAS and/or in Barcelona during EAPS . We recommend that candidates have reviewed for Pediatric Research in the past and be familiar with the publication process.

In addition, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. A member of APS, SPR, or ESPR
  2. Academic rank at the Assistant Professor Level or higher

ARI 2021 Call for Proposals

The Editors-in-Chief of Pediatric Research announce the topic of the 2021 Annual Review Issue, entitled "Personalized medicine and social determinants of child health." 

Both personalized medicine and social determinants of child health have become hot topics in pediatric research.  However, few articles address their interaction, how social determinants influence personalized medicine, and how personalized medicine maybe affected by social determinants.  For this review issue of Pediatric Research, we are seeking visionary review articles examining this interaction (or collision!) of these two big areas of research along with reviews of either social determinants or personalized medicine.
