Structure of a 28-nucleotide ribosomal frameshifting RNA pseudoknot from beet western yellow virus. This pseudoknot is just downstream of a specific sequence in the viral mRNA at which ribosomes are prone to perform a doublet instead of a triplet translocation, causing a shift to the −1 frame in order to synthesize the viral polymerase. See pages 285–292 and News and Views pages 206–207.
