We value the work that all peer reviewers contribute to scientific progress, and are especially grateful to the 120,000 reviewers who contributed to the Nature-branded journals in 2018.
Reviewer activity report
As an appreciation for the time and expertise you offer to the peer review process, Nature Research provides a summary of your refereeing activity for our journals. We hope you can use this record to demonstrate your contribution to the peer review process and to the scientific community. If you would like to obtain a report of your reviewing activity, follow these steps:
- Log into the journal’s manuscript tracking system.
- Click the ‘My Springer Nature Account’ link at the bottom of the page.
- Locate the ‘Manuscripts’ tab.
From that tab, you will be able to download a copy of your reviewing activity, which you can share with your funders for example. If you have any trouble or if you need proof of reviewing activity in a different format, please contact us.
Reviewer thank you
Reviewers who submit a report for three or more manuscripts submitted to Nature Research journals in a calendar year are eligible for a free one-year online personal subscription to a Nature Research journal of their choice. In addition, at their discretion, editors award a number of free one-year online personal subscriptions to reviewers who have provided reports of outstanding quality. Reviewers may donate their subscription offer to a colleague or to the Research4life programme. Information about claiming this subscription will come via email early in the calendar year following your refereeing activity.
To ensure that you receive this notification, we recommend that you merge any duplicate profiles, use only one email address for all Nature Research reviewing activity, and update the email address in your profile if your affiliation changes. If you think you might have multiple accounts, contact Platform Support with any email addresses and names you might have used; they can help you merge your accounts.
External recognition platforms
Springer Nature is committed to recognizing the valuable and critical role performed by peer reviewers. We fully support verifying and crediting your review activity directly from our manuscript submission systems to ORCID. More information can be found here.
