About the Editors

Chief Editor: Dominique Morneau, PhD ORCID

Dominique obtained her PhD in biology from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, where she studied amino acid biosynthesis in legumes. She joined the editorial team of Genome Biology in 2015 and the editorial launch team of Communications Biology in 2018. In January 2020, she became Chief Editor for the launch of Nature Reviews Methods Primers. Dominique mainly handles papers in biology and biomethods.

Senior Editor: Kristina Kareh, PhD ORCID

Kristina joined Nature Reviews Methods Primers in August 2020. She completed her MEng and PhD at Imperial College London, where she investigated real-time deformation of semi-solid aluminium-copper alloys using synchrotron X-ray tomography. She continued on at Imperial College as a postdoctoral scientist imaging semi-solid steels before extending her work to solid oxide fuel cells. Kristina spent 3.5 years at Nature Communications handling manuscripts spanning all areas of structural materials science before moving to Nature Reviews Methods Primers, where she handles Primers in materials science and physics.

Associate Editor: Stacey-Lynn Paiva, PhD ORCID

Stacey obtained her BSc at Queen’s University, Canada, specializing in biochemistry. She conducted her doctoral studies at the University of Toronto where she worked on developing inhibitors of E1 activating enzymes to characterize the interplay of ubiquitin-like protein labelling systems and their mechanistic roles in physiology and disease. Following her postdoctoral work in chemical biology with a focus on targeted protein degradation at Yale, Stacey joined Nature Reviews Drug Discovery in September 2019. She assumed her current role on the launch team for Nature Reviews Methods Primers in March 2020. Stacey primarily handles papers in chemistry and chemical biology.

Associate Editor (cross-journal): Joseph Willson, PhD ORCID

After completing an Integrated Masters degree (MBiolSci) in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Sheffield, Joseph completed his PhD studies at the University of Edinburgh as part of the Optical Medical Imaging Centre for Doctoral Training (OPTIMA) under the supervision of Professor Sarah Walmsley. His PhD studies investigated the mechanisms by which neutrophils respond to hypoxic stress and the relevance of these mechanisms to lung disease. After working as a freelance editor, he joined the Nature Reviews Cross-Journal Editorial Team in 2019, first supporting Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, and since then has supported life sciences, physical sciences and clinical journals. At Nature Reviews Methods Primers, Joe primarily handles papers in biology, microscopy and imaging.
