Open access funding
Visit Springer Nature's open access funding page for information about research funders and institutions that provide funding for APCs.
Springer Nature also offers an open access funding support service to make it easier for Springer Nature authors to discover and apply for APC funding. For advice on what funding is available to you, and help in approaching funders and institutions, please contact our Open Research Support Team.
APC waiver policy
Schizophrenia offers APC waivers and discounts for papers whose corresponding authors are based in the world's lowest income countries as defined by the World Bank. See here for further information.
Requests from other authors for APC waivers and discounts will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be granted in cases of financial need. All applications for discretionary APC waivers should be made prior to or at the point of manuscript submission; requests made during the review process or after acceptance will not be considered.
