Cell Therapies
  Contents     Editorial    News Feature  Commentary
Feature Patents Reviews Feedback
Rapid advances are being made in understanding the mechanisms underlying the developmental potential of embryonic and adult human stem cells. While these advances already are influencing the cellular models of human diseases used in traditional drug discovery, ultimately they also promise new treatments for such diseases as Parkinson's, diabetes and heart failure, and brain or spinal injuries, which previously have lacked effective treatments. Nature Biotechnology's Cell Therapies focus examines the scientific, legal, regulatory, and commercial context of current cell research for regenerative medicine.
