A research support position in immunology is available in the McKenzie lab at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). You will join a highly integrated and motivated team with diverse skills and expertise focussed on the molecular regulation of innate lymphoid cells and their roles in health and diseases such as asthma and allergy (see e.g. Immunity (2018) 48, 1195; Cell Rep (2017) 18, 1893; Nat Immunol (2016) 17, 57). You will be expected to work collaboratively to provide support to the team and also semi-independently on dedicated projects.

Candidate requirements

You should have a good 1st degree in biology or biochemistry (or other relevant subject), and some experience of laboratory research. You will have basic bench skills and experience or a theoretical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques eg PCR, gene cloning. Experience of further techniques eg cell culture, CRISPR-Cas9 would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
